International Patient Transfer

Along with their relatives, patients needing to be treated or travel to another country from home country are transferred in an appropriate manner and in accompany with the medical teams.

We are at your disposal with our doctors and health personnel, who are experts in their fields and are trained in flight conditions, that can meet your international needs instantly.
For this purpose, the standard operation types applied in our patient transfers are described below.

Patients who are fitness to fly and can be transferred by sitting on a charter place with a medical assistant, are brought to the airport entrance door by taking them from the hospital and home with an ambulance. From here, they are taken in a wheelchair and are taken to the plane by means of an ambulift for embarkation and disembarkation.

In the case of patients who cannot go without a medical staff and need a stretcher, a stretcher is placed on the back of the chartered airplane with the permission of the airline company and transportation is provided by a doctor, nurse or emergency medicine technician. During the transfer, all kinds of medical equipment and first aid kits that will be needed in accordance with the medical reports of the patient are supplied to our medical teams. The need for oxygen support is provided by request from the relevant airline companies, and secure flight is provided.

If our stretcher patient is to be transferred on a chartered flight, the plane suitable for carrying stretchers will be found between 12 and 24 hours. Before the flight, the ambulance enters the apron and the patient with a stretcher is taken to the plane through the ambulift.

All airports in our country have tools and equipment suitable for patient transfer with stretchers.

If the transfer in question is to be carried out in indirect way, the patient is followed up until the flight time at the clinic where the transfer will be made.

The patient is also taken to a land ambulance at the airport where he/she will go. Our healthcare teams will deliver the patient, accompanied by an assistant, to hospital or home or to the airport where he/she lands, according to the instructions given.
